The King shows up on your doorstep...... (Part 1)

My watch glowed blue in the dark night as I walked through the forest in my backyard and I grinned to myself- this was the night to ride.
I tapped the screen with my finger: one. two.

Things began to spin, faster and faster, too fast. I was traveling faster than I had ever before. I collapsed and landed on a dirt floor- chained to a wooden wall.
I glanced down, and saw that my hoodie and pants had changed into a dirty brown feedbag that was cut off short, right above my knees. My brown hair lay greasy and limp around my face as well. I did not like this. Not at all.

I pulled at the chains around both of my wrists, but they held tight. And my watch was gone. It must have dropped off somewhere. But where?
Just then a door opened and light poured into the windowless house, and a man stood in the doorway. He grinned a toothless grin and laughed. He looked like he was from the Medieval Era, a peasant, slop buckets in hand, a knife in the other.

Something was terribly wrong, my travels never started like this.

"You look like you've seen a ghost." he laughed and set the buckets down in front of me. They were full of dead fish. Stinking Dead Fish. I backed up into one of the corners and stared at the man, truly frightened. "You know better than to try to run." He started towards me but there was a knock at the door and a loud voice called from the other side, "Open up! In the name of the King!"
I started to scream but the man was beside me in seconds, pressing the knife against my throat. "You dare make a sound." He warned, hissing it in my face to where I could smell his disgusting breath.

The door busted open and guards that looked royal came in, swords ready. "Sire!" One called and the king stepped through the door. A young fellow, about my age, maybe eighteen or so. "Let her go!" he commanded, his face showing rage. "You can be killed now or later!"
My captor pressed the knife deeper to where I whimpered, leaning close to him. "I'll kill her first." He threatened. The king walked slowly towards us, unarmed.
"Sire!" one of the men warned, but he kept coming. Finally, he bent down to our level and looked him strait in the eyes and shook his head slowly. "Let. My. Sister. Go. Now." he said one word at a time.

I grew wide eyed and sucked in a breath. Sister?
This was just getting crazier by the second.

Or will I be stuck in time forever?
